
MADISON (WKOW) -- The number of employers at a UW-Madison job fair dropped by 50% from last year.
The UW Business Career Center hosted its annual job fair at the Kohl Center for students in the School of Business and College of Letters and Sciences.
There were about 150 companies in attendance, compared to 230 last year.
Steve Schroeder, Director of the Business Career Center said "It's (The economy) definitely had an impact but all things considered we're pretty pleased with the number of companies we've had."
