QUINCY, Ill. (WGEM) -- The Quincy Salvation Army is finding a few extra goodies in its red kettles.
A 10-karat gold band and a woman's ring with multi-colored stones turned up in a kettle at Farm and Home Supply.
Three silver dollar coins, two of which dated back to the late 1800s, were found in a kettle at HyVee on Broadway.
Three other women's rings were found in other kettles.
About $70,000 is still needed to reach the $310,00 dollar goal.
