MADISON (WKOW) -- Organizers estimated more than 10,000 people came to Elver Park in Madison on Friday night for July 4th fireworks show.
It was packed with kids, adults, and babies for the half-hour sho on a beautiful summer evening on Madison's west side.
Many families arrived early to stake out their spot in the grass.
The Gamble family played outdoor sports and cooked out all day. "We got here early to mark out spot," said Rhonda Gamble.
"If you were going to order weather, this is what you'd order," said Brad Austin, Q106 program director and event organizer.
