MANITOWOC (WKOW) -- A man from Ashwaubenon has been charged with killing his wife after hunters found her body in rural Manitowac County in November.
Forty-year-old Ambrose Greaves was charged Monday in Manitowoc County Circuit Court with first degree intentional homicide.
Police say his wife, 50-year-old Miki Greaves, was found dead along a remote road with stab wounds in her lower back and chest.
Ambrose Greaves' initial court appearance Monday was continued until next week so the public defender's office can determine whether he qualifies for a public defender. He remained in custody and could not be reached for comment.
Manitowoc County Sheriff's officials say the couple was going through a divorce.
