LAKE DELTON (WKOW) -- State wildlife experts say efforts to restock Lake Delton are going well after last year's torrential rains eroded shoreline and caused the lake to drain into the Wisconsin River.
In September, the Department of Natural Resources boom-shocked the lake, by sending an electric current to momentarily stun the fish and send them to the surface to be counted and measured.
Fisheries supervisor Scot Stewart says fish were "everywhere." Walleye now average almost 10 inches long and the walleye and bass are expected to reach legal limit sizes by fall of 2011.
