Baldwin faces challenge from Libertarian candidate

Posted:

MADISON (WKOW)-- Libertarian Party candidate Tim Nerenz has filed papers with the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board to challenge incumbent Tammy Baldwin for Wisconsin’s 2nd District Congressional seat in 2010.

Tim Nerenz is a manufacturing executive from Columbia County with 35 years of experience in international trade, national defense, and energy sectors.  He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Libertarian Party of Wisconsin.

“The two-party system has forced us to choose between more government or a lot more government.” says Nerenz, “The fundamental choice is not between right and left, it is between up and down – more government control over your life or less.  Tammy wants more, I want less; I think most people will agree with Tim, Not Tammy.”

Nerenz's campaign website is www.timnerenz.com
