Rep. Jeff Wood in court October 22CHIPPEWA FALLS (WKOW) -- State Rep. Jeff Wood says he plans to enter a Minnesota treatment clinic this week, after his third arrest for driving under the influence in just 10 months.
Wood told the Eau Claire Leader-Telegram Monday he expects to check in to a more strict 30 to 45 day program at Veterans Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Tomah Police arrested Wood last week on suspicion of OWI after witnesses called to report him swerving on the road. Wood acknowledged taking more prescription medication than was prescribed while out on a day pass from an inpatient treatment facility.
