MADISON (WKOW) -- Working Mother magazine named the UW Hospital and Clinics one of the 100 best companies to work for.
In an email announcing the recognition, the hospital wrote, "The publication, which has two million readers and is the only magazine of its kind to focus on working parents, honored the hospital for its family-friendly programs, such as: flexibility on work schedules and time off, opportunities for growth and development, its wellness program, and benefits for part-time workers."
UW Hospital and Clinics has approximately 7,400 employees and women make up 75 percent of its workforce.
