
MADISON (WKOW) - Experts on two-wheels spent their day showing the ropes and talking about safety to motorcycle novices.
Madison Area Technical College held its Motorcycle Education Program this afternoon.
Classes for all levels of riders were offered. The goal, promoting safety.
There have been nearly 60 motorcycle fatalities already this year.
MATC hopes to offer more of these classes in the future as the popularity of motorcycles continues to grow.
More than 470,000 Wisconsin residents have motorcycle licenses or permits.
There are about 330,000 bikes registered in the state.
