MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Public Library now has extra resources and opportunities on-site to aid people looking for a career change.
A $25,000 grant will benefit four Madison Public Library branches and twenty other public libraries in South Central Wisconsin.
The grant would be used to offer workshops geared toward displaced workers, develop skills for job searching, and workshops for resume and cover letter writing.
Ninety-minute sessions will be taught by MATC or UW Writing Center staff and will have an hour of "open office" services to consult about career-building.
