MADISON (WKOW) -- As jobless rates increase, there are more resources for those seeking placement in the job market.
There are more resources at Madison libraries, thanks to a 25,000 grant funded by the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
Four Madison Public Library branches and twenty other public libraries in the South Central Library System are offering workshops, geared towards displaced workers, on developing skills for job searching.
Here's a few of the workshops available!
This grant is made available through the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the primary source of federal support for the nation's 122,000 libraries and 17,500 museums. The Institute's mission is to create strong libraries as museums that connect people to information and ideas.
