WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports'Public Enemies' finishes third at the box office

PORTAGE (WKOW) -- This past weekend, Johnny Depp and Christian Bale's gangster epic "Public Enemies" debuted at a solid number three at the Fourth of July box office, bringing in $26.2 million.
It came in after "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" and "Tansformers: Revenge of the Fallen." Those movies tied for the number one spot with about $42.5 million in ticket sales each.
The third place finish was for trying. More than twenty classic cars rolled into Portage on Sunday, including some Johnny Depp drove during the filming of the movie in Wisconsin.
