WKOW 27: Madison, WI Breaking News, Weather and Sports'Everyday heroes' praised after Milwaukee shooting

MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- Milwaukee's mayor and police chief are praising two citizens as "everyday heroes" for their quick actions after the shooting of two police officers Tuesday.
After the men were shot, taxi driver Anthony Thompson ran to help. He says he was thinking about what he'd want done for his family in the same situation.
Mike Charbonneau helped track down the 18-year-old suspect, who police arrested within an hour at a nearby house.
Police Chief Edward Flynn says the officers were patting down the man on a bike when he shot them.
26-year-old Officer Graham Kunisch is hospitalized in critical condition. His fellow officer, 21-year-old Bryan Norberg, is listed in satisfactory condition.
