EAU CLAIRE (WKOW) -- Swine flu fears have prompted the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire to cancel its study abroad program to Mexico.
23 students were scheduled for a six week program in Mexico beginning May 26. The school is working on setting up a similar program in Costa Rica.
There are currently five UW-Eau Claire students studying in Mexico. All are reported to be healthy. The students may return early if they choose.
