A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for southwestern and south central Wisconsin into tonight, with a Winter Storm Warning for Dodge, Jefferson, Rock, and Walworth Counties. Low pressure will slowly track south of the region, producing a prolonged period of light snow into tonight. Another 2 inches are expected this afternoon, with another inch this evening. This will bring totals to around 5 inches far NW, to around 6 inches for many of us, & up to 7-9 inches SE. It'll also become breezy to windy this afternoon, tonight, and early tomorrow, which will create considerable blowing and drifting snow & difficult travel conditions. Colder temperatures will follow this storm, with highs in the lower 20s through the rest of the week. Drive carefully & have a great day!
